In her words –
In times of great uncertainties and vulnerabilities like we are facing, a ‘Sustainable Vietnam’ needs strong foundations at different levels to weather through the ups and downs with resilience. This means individuals and organisations need to work at building inner capacities for growth and take charge of their own sustainable developments; being mindful of environmental and social impacts, social injustices whilst leveraging their own strengths and assets as well as their communities.
No single organisation or sector alone can solve today’s complex social problems which require multiple solutions. That is why partnerships are essential to mobilise and utilise resources to ensure sustainable development. Impact to me means: positive changes you can make on the wellbeing of yourself and others, be it your loved ones or the communities you come into contact with every day. It could be as simple as a smile, an act of gratitude or accepting reality.
We are all interdependent – strong communities make strong nations and each of us have a stake in it.
