Conversation on Women Empowerment & Leadership with Julianne Cowley, Australia Consul-General in HCMC

On the occasion of International Women’s Day – 8 March –Irene Ohler, leadership development specialist, coach, storyteller and founder of Lightpath Leadership, in partnership with AmCham Vietnam, will invite on the Women’s Month of March, a range of guests active in this space to share their motivation, challenges and the impact they want to see in Vietnam through advancing gender equality and women leadership to create a ‘Sustainable Vietnam’.

In the third conversation, we are delighted to welcome Julianne Cowley, Australia Consul-General in HCMC.

About Julianne Cowley

Ms Julianne Cowley is Australia’s Consul General in HCMC and has lead policy areas in Health, Human Resources and in International Development Assistance. Prior to international development, Ms Cowley worked in Indigenous education.

Ms Cowley has been a board member of the Asia Pacific Leader’s Malaria Alliance, the Ayui Foundation (Thailand), and Lifeline. For several years, Ms Cowley worked for the Australian Prime Minister’s Community Business Partnership.

Ms Cowley holds an MBA, Bachelor of Communication, GradDip in Education is an Associate in Music and is an Accredited Partnership Broker.
