On the occasion of International Women’s Day – 8 March –Irene Ohler, leadership development specialist, coach, storyteller and founder of Lightpath Leadership will invite, on the Women’s Month of March, a range of guests active in this space to share their motivation, challenges and the impact they want to see in Vietnam through advancing gender equality and women leadership to create a ‘Sustainable Vietnam’.

About Thao Nguyen Griffiths
Thao Nguyen Griffiths is currently Policy Advisor to the Chairman of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
From 2007 to 2016 Thao was Country Director for the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation – an American Non-Governmental Organization which was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997 with close partnership with the Ministry of Defense of Vietnam on banning landmines.
Thao studied at the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Academy of Diplomacy and holds a Masters in Systems Engineering from RMIT University in Melbourne and a Masters in International Relations from American University in Washington DC.
She has 19 years’ experience in management, public health, development, climate change, security policy, and IT related business. In the private sector, she worked with Boeing, Bombardier Inc., Planned Systems International PSI, VOXIVA Inc., Microsoft Asia Pacific, and Cofffey. She has been a GCSP Security Leadership Fellow (Switzerland), an Endeavour Fellow (Australia), a Fulbright scholar (US), and an inaugural Eisenhower Fellow (US) from Vietnam in 2013.
