Why a ‘Sustainable Vietnam’?

By Christina Ameln, CSR | Sustainability Advisor –

It has been a little quiet on my front the last weeks.  Like most of you, I have been basking in the memories of summer. But I have also been putting together this “gathering point” as I have seen a need to continue to build awareness and knowledge in the region. It would have gone faster if I were technically more adept and/or had asked for help a little earlier.

Well I finally did ask for help and… voila!

What?

Sustainable Vietnam – A Focus on Sustainability, Partnerships & Impact is a gathering point on everything there is to know on sustainability in Vietnam. Its purpose is to be a hub of knowledge and exchange for all sectors from corporates, non-profits, individuals etc. who want to learn and share.

Why?

As so many eyes are turning to Vietnam – one of the fastest growing economies in Asia – it is important to understand the sustainability landscape in this amazing country.  There is much being done – and much more to be done.

How?

This information platform is aimed to be inclusive – all contributors from all sectors are welcome.  All sizes, all perspectives and all insights will be highlighted – from multinational companies; non-profit groups; enterprising individuals, etc.  Together we can make the greatest impact!

This platform will lift up solutions. It will inspire and motivate action. It will shine a light on what is already happening in Vietnam as well as bring new ideas to Vietnam and the larger Asia region.

Impact comes in all shapes and sizes!

Look forward to hearing from you whether to contribute or comment.
