In his words –
Vietnam can be proud of its remarkable economic and social strides over the past few decades that have guaranteed such rapid economic growth.
However, like most other nations on Earth, the future also holds huge and unprecedented challenges.
For me, a “Sustainable Vietnam” will foster participation from all aspects of society to ensure accurate foresight and to implement actions that avoid the risk of undoing all the good work. To do this, we must recognize the multiplicity of solutions and ensure the fruition and exploration of all types of knowledge and ideas.
Sustainability is far-reaching and encompasses absolutely everything we do, across every sector and distinct environment on earth.
It’s amazingly complicated and there is never a simple or complete solution, therefore, partnerships are not just ideal but necessary to accurately understand systems and create the most ideal outcomes.
Without honest, transparent, and holistic collaboration, then only a fraction of an issue can be known any efforts will be wasted.

Mark Ratcliff firmly believes that the driver of real sustainability is the values we hold and our consequent behavior and actions. As a writer and photographer, his work aims to simplify and resolve the complexity and principles of sustainable thinking to drive self-reflection and a deeper understanding in his audience.
